Light on Timer Circuit:

When the circuit is connected with the power supply then we all know current will flow from the 1K resistor to the transistor's end now, a LED is connected parallelly so, at the first of the circuit the base has no voltage. If we push the Push switch what happens is that the capacitor started charging and stores some charge. Now when we release the push switch the capacitor started discharging through 100k Resistor.
           Here is a simple circuit for turning on a system after a certain time. Just with some simple components like resistors and capacitors and Transistors. How the circuit works?

The circuit is very easy to understand. This is based on a simple transistor's circuit.

  1. When the circuit is connected with the power supply then we all know current will flow from the 1K resistor to the transistor's end now, a LED is connected parallelly so, at the first of the circuit the base has no voltage. So it means that transistor will not be conductive so it means that transistor's collector and the emitter pin have no dynamic connections so it means that Transistor's collector and the emitter pin acts as an open circuit. As we know the LED connected parallelly so it means that at the first of the circuit the current will flow from the 1k resistor the LED and to the GND.
  2. If we push the Push switch what happens is that the capacitor started charging and stores some charge. Now when we release the push switch the capacitor started discharging through 100k Resistor. The voltage came to the transistor's base so it means that the transistor became conductive. So Current will flow from transistor's collector to emitter, in this case, the LED will not run because the current will always frow from the shortest path so If it goes from the LED the. It will be a resistive path so it will only flow from the Transistor, as a result, the voltage comes through a 1k resistor and came to virtual GND. The current flows from the resistor now dissipate through heat.  This process will work until the capacitor's charge fully discharges.
  3. When the capacitor is fully discharged then no current will flow from the transistor si it means that the Transistor Will not more be conductive as a result the Transistor became off as result the process will be repeated once more the LED will run because of 1K resistor.
  4. This process will be followed repeatedly. In this Circuit, we don't have utilized any type of microcontroller, as a result, the making cost of this circuit will be very low.

Hello, Everyone today in this article I want to discuss simple emergency Buzzer alarm Circuit. The circuit consists of some basic components like resistors,  Transistors, Buzzer alarm, and a LED. You can run the circuit between 9v to 12v of voltage. If you cut the loop wire then the buzzer and the LED will be On condition.

How the circuit works?

This is a basic NPN Transistor Circuit which is used in the circuit.  The basic principles NPN  transistor is that if you give voltage into the transistor's base then the transistor became conductive and current flows from transistor's collector to Emitter. If you connect any series load then the circuit will run the load.


  1. At first, the loop wire is connected. so it means that the Base and the Emitter point is short-circuited. So, for this reason, the current goes to the shortest path as possible. So current will flow from Vcc to GND through 2.2k Resistor. So, no current will flow into the transistor's base and for this reason, the transistor will not be conductive. As a result, the current will flow from collector to Emitter. And for this, the LED and the Buzzer will not work.
  2. Now let's say I have cut the wire which is short-circuited before. (I mean  Base and Emitter Connected wire). Now if we turn on the power supply then the current flows from Vcc to transistor's Base through 2.2k Resistor. For this reason, the transistor became conductive and the current flows from the Transistor's collector to Emitter and the load which is connected in series will be on for this reason. (Here the load is parallelly connected RED LED and the Buzzer).  For this reason, the buzzer gives beep sound. And the circuit will work. 



Note: 

Always check the Transistor number before using it. Otherwise, it may be a PNP transistor.

How to Flash 220V Light Bulb ?

Hello Everyone, Today in this article I will discuss Simple 220V Light Bulb Flashing Circuit. For this project, I will use a Fluorescent Lamp Starter It will be used as a 220V Light Bulb Flasher. You don't need any additional components for this project. There is a filament inside of the starter It works with any type of  Fluorescent lamp starter. There is a simple logic is that when the terminal of the stater is heated then the thermostats plate increases and became short-circuited. So it means that current flows from the light became turned on. After that, the thermostats cooled and then starter acts like an open circuit. And then the light became off. I have used 100W LED Bulb as a load you can use this as well. This is a very simple circuit which is made up of fluorescent lamp starter. 



Needed Components:


  1. A Fluorescent Lamp Starter.
  2. 100W Bulb
  3. Some Connecting Wires
  4. A  2 Pin Plug

How Does the Circuit Works?

LED Dimmer Circuit with LM317





Today in this article we will discuss LED Dimmer Circuit or simple adjustable Voltage regular Circuit with LM317. LM317 was first introduced in 1970 from then until now the I.C is used for small Transformer Based Variable Power supply.

Things needed for the Circuit:


  1. 330 Ohm resistor
  2. LM317
  3. One 12v LED as a Load
    (We will use this LED for LED Dimming Observation.)
  4. A 12V Power Supply.

How Does it work?

This is a simple circuit with LM317. We use a Potentiometer/ Trimmer for varying the voltage of adjusting pin. It is connected in such a way that if the residence of the potentiometer is increased then the LM317 output voltage decreases. And in a similar way if the resistance decreases then the output voltage from LM317 increases.

Note: I have used a 10k linear potentiometer. If you want to get more accurate output then I will suggest you go for multiturn trimmer or potentiometer. It will give you a great experience.

Simple Touch Sensor



Today in the article I will discuss Simple touch sensor/ Transistor Touch sensitive circuits. Here I will discuss n channel MOSFET touch-sensitive circuits. MOSFET has 3 pins gate drain and source. The point gate is used for turning on and turning off the MOSFET. Basically, we use a PWM signal for controlling the MOSFETs. But here we are using our Hand as a resister which can activate or deactivate the MOSFET.

How the simple touch sensor circuit works?


  1. MOSFET has 3 pins gate drain and source. The point gate is used for turning on and turning off the MOSFET. Basically, we use a PWM signal for controlling the MOSFETs. But here we are using our Hand as a resister which can activate or deactivate the MOSFET.
  2.  If we touch the gate Pin and the Vcc then the current flows from our hand to the gate pin. There it suddenly activates the MOSFET. And the current flows from drain to source.
  3. In the MOSFET there is an inbuilt capacitor this took the charge and stores the energy. The current will flow from drain to source as long as capacitor stores energy.
  4.  Now if you touch the gate Pin and the GND Pin then the stored capacitor discharges and the current flow become lower. There will be higher resistance between drain and source.
  5. So, there will be no flow between drain and source.

How does the LED dimmer circuit works?

Here we are using 555 timer. You can control the duty cycles of the PWM signal by rotating the potentiometer.   The PWM pulse coming from pin number 3 is driving an N-channel MOSFET. The MOSFET basically dims the LED when it gets slow PWM signal. you can use any engineering MOSFET for any power transistor as per your need. For my case of a LED dimmer circuit, I used IRFZ44N N-channel enhancement type MOSFET. You can use any type of MOSFET as a load you are connecting. I have made the circuit on Dot PCB Board. You can use a breadboard for testing purposes. This is a cheap build which takes all under $1.


NB:


  1. I have mentioned the potentiometer about 10k to 50k. If you find 10k is not working great for you then I will suggest you go for the 50k potentiometer. This will solve your low problem.
  2.  If you want to drive 12 volt LED strips then I will suggest you take a power supply around 13 volts. Because for the dimmer we are using a MOSFET, the MOSFETs has its internal resistance. show the most it will take. 7 volt for its work so when you are working with this type of MOSFETs you will add +0.7 volts For great results.

LED Chaser Circuit with 555 timer



Hello, Everyone today in this article we will discuss LED chaser circuit using 555 timer. You can control two LEDs with this circuit. You Can use this circuit for controlling 2 LEDs you can also change the LED flashing speed. You can also control more LEDs by utilization of 2 N-Channel MOSFETs.

  1. 2 White LEDs
  2. NE555 Timer
  3. 2, 330Ohm Resistor
  4. 100K Resistor

How the circuit works?

  1. The circuit is very simple. you can also make this the number 3 pin is the output pin. Number 3 pin gives the PWM signal which is something about logic 0 and logic 1. Logic 0 means 0 volt and logic 1 means 5 volt. Logic 1 and logic 0 alternates in a fraction of time. I mean if you find that the logic is high then after that the logic will be low after that it will be high and it will go on.

  2. Let's talk about logic 1: The logic 1 and logic 0 is sequential. So was let's talk about logic 1. Logic 1 means 5-volt output. Now if you have read the logic 0 paragraph then you can imagine the logic 1. This is logic 1 so it means that the voltage of PIN 3 is 5 volt. So we can say the middle node voltage is 5 volt. Let's talk about LED 2 first. The middle node voltage is 5 volt and the GND voltages are 0 volt. Show current will flow from the middle node to GND. So we can say the led 2 will run.

  3.  Let's talk about LED 1, let's imagine you have connected the circuitry with 5-volt power supply. Show the Vcc voltage is 5 volt and also the middle node voltages 5 volt so there is no potential difference between these two points so we can say the LED 1 will not work.

  4. This cycle continuous one by one. And the two LED glows one by one.

  5. Here the capacitor takes a great role in switching. Let me explain, the capacity at which you have connected is charging and discharging simultaneously. Firstly the capacitor charges and it comes to a threshold point. The capacitor stores the charge up to the threshold value. When the capacitor crosses it's threshold point then the IC triggers and suddenly the capacitor started discharging. The circle will what till the capacitor fully discharged after that the capacitor fully charged and crossed is the threshold point. And the same circle runs more and more. Here the capacity takes a great part. If you use a capacitor with higher capacity, Then the flashing of the LED will be slower. For this reason, I have used female headers for seeing the changes after changing the capacitor.

How It Works?

  1. 4017 IC has 10 Output pins and the IC needs a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) for running this process. For this case the Pin 14 of the IC Works. For the reason, we use 555 Timer IC for giving the PWM signal. But in this case, we have used a Multi-Colour RGB LED for Triggering the IC. This is the simple concept of the Circuit. 
  2. If you look carefully then you can see the pattern is not always same. Sometimes It goes faster than expected and sometimes it Goes Slower. Here Is the Reason,

    • If you see the Multi-colour RGB LED from Close then you can see that the LED has some Strange Pattern. When the LED Goes Slower than Expected then the PWM Signal Produced from the LED was Low.
    • If you find the LED Changing Pattern is Faster than before, then the PWM signal produced from the LED became very High. As a result, you find that the 10 LED chasing speed Has gone too fast. 

  3.  I have Used a Multi-Color LED you can also use a Dual Colour LED for getting more accurate and a single Pulse as a Signal. You can Use any LED as your wish. For this case, the LED is running in only one state so we can believe that we will only get one PWM signal and the LED Pattern Goes from 1 to 10 in a single pattern.

             The Wiring will take some time for being complete. After Its doe then you can Gibe the Power anything in 3.7v to 9V for running the LED Chaser Circuit. It is a very Easy Circuit. So, I will highly recommend you to make this simple circuit.

How to make a powerful audio amplifier with 4440 IC?

Here is a Quick article where I am showing how you can make a 4440 amplifier circuit diagram you can also follow my Instructable page for better schematics, Now Let's get into it.

Features of 4440 IC:

  1. It is built in 2 channels either you can use it as Mono or as Stereo.
  2. It has a ripple rejection of 46dB.
  3. The 4440 IC can handle voltage up to 18v. But in general cases, we use 12v as Input.
  4. Both channels have clarity as they have good separation of audio, and the audio is distortion free.
  5. If you use 4440 IC in Stereo mode then wattage will be 6W x 2.
  6. If you use 4440 IC as Bridge mode then Wattage will be 19W.
  7. It has a protection circuit inbuilt.

4440 IC:


  1. I will go as simple as possible. there are 14 pins in the ic and it can mainly be used in Bridge Mono or in Stereo Mode.
  2. If you want to use the 4440 IC in Stereo mode then both channels are maximum capable of 5w so the sum of the two speakers will be 10w.
  3. If we use the amplifier at Bridge node then we can drive a total of 19w speakers.
  4. By the comparison, we can get that the efficiency of the bridge Mono amplifier is quite high. nearly 'x2'.
  5. That's why we are making the bridge amplifier.
  6. If you hold the IC from the front side I mean the 4440 logo is in front of you then the Pin Numbering will be 1 to 14 Left to right. Now it will be easier to understand.

           **Make sure you have connected all the components carefully otherwise you will damage the IC.

How to repair old torch or emergency Light?

Repairing of emergency lights or torch is very easy nowadays. If you have dome basic repairing components then repairing is not a hard task. In this article, I will show you step by step checking process from where you can easily find which components/ component is misbehaving.

What is the problem of my emergency light?

In my emergency light, there are few problems
1st: the switch of the light is jammed. Light on and off process takes too much effort.
2nd: In spite of being charged the light the light is running very Short period.

steps should be followed for checking the emergency light.

Step1: first open the torch or emergency light with screwdrivers.
Step2: There you will find 3 main components

  1. Light Module itself.
  2. Battery
  3. Charging Board.

We will check all the components one by one. For a more clear concept, you must watch the YouTube video.

Step3: first we have to charge the emergency light with given adaptor or power cable for about 3 hours. Now if the battery is OK then it will deliver power to the light but if it is not OK then the light will run for a short time and then we will understand that the battery is dead.

Step4: Now you have checked that the battery can't able to hold the charge then surely change the battery otherwise you have to follow the step5.

Step5: you have checked the battery voltage is nearly the mentioned voltage (i.e. for some cases 4v and some cases 6v) then the problem should be from the charging board or the light section.
first, examine the components on PCP see that if there is any burning mark then you have to check it at the first sight.
Your 2nd work would be to smell the PCB and you have to find if there is any burnt smell.
Ok, That was the easy part.
Now you have to check all components part by part.

Step 6: First see the AC Capacitor is OK or not if the AC Capacitor (PF) is looking like the blasted mode or if there is any mark of a cut then you should understand that PF is not working.
Now we will check the Bridge rectifiers.

(i.e. if you don't know how to check the diodes here is a quick demo for you. set your millimeter to diode mode then use the two props of the muleteer multimeter to the diode. community connect the 2 props to the diodes end and do the same thing by replacing the two end of the diode. if you see that value is showing only one direction then you should understand that the diode is OK if you face such a situation where you are gating values for the two sides. then you should understand that the diode is damaged.)

Generally, the resistor connected with the parallel to the AC Capacitor damage. Other resistors which are auxiliary they should not damage generally.

Step7: Now till this step every component are OK. all are working property. now the next thing you will look first is the switch itself. I'm my case the switch was fully jammed. as a result, the light was not working properly.
So, what I did is that I used coconut oil for easy movement of the switch. and It worked just fine.

Step8: think such a situation where you have checked all 7 steps mentioned before. and your light was not cured.
so here the problems should be the spot lights itself.
It sometimes happens... you have forgotten to turn off the light when the light is charging. If this happens to your light then you have to remove the bad LED and replace it with a good one.

How to repair not working DC Motor?

What is a DC motor?

DC motor is one kind of electronic device if you give electrical energy then it will convert it to mechanical energy as a kind of work done. by using this trick we can different things such as machines toys and also used on industrial cases... as a result, it is most useful to our daily life.

What is Dinamo?

If you want to understand this thing clearly then I will say that that it is a system where you can give mechanical or any type of power and the power will be converted into our needed energy which is electrical energy. one thing is that on DC what is DC motor that is Dinamo. so it means that if you turn the shaft of the motor then some electrical energy should be generated.

How Motor runs?

Motor runs in principal of Flamin' left-hand rule. I am not going to discuss this topic otherwise the topic will be too much longer. that is a topic for my different article.

What is a brush?

For turning the motor we need to give the motor constant DC voltage. the brush is the terminal from where we give the +ve  and -vs voltage to the motor. as a result, the motor turns on and on.

What is the material used for making brushes?

brushes are made of carbon and some amount of other metal elements. we know that carbon is a good conductor so we use this for making a motor.

Brushes were broken:

It particularly happens for the hobbyists and some other people who are pretty much interested in electronic projects. but no matter what it is. we have to repair. so what steps you should take for curing the motor. all the steps are given below.

Step 1: first open the motor's backside cover carefully. you should have a pair for better and easy opening.

Step 2: Pull the back side gently and do this very care fully you should not want note damage for the motor.

Step 3: Now use a metal wire for the connection. in my case, I am using 2 resistors legs for this. you can use any conductive wires.
connect the 2 resistors as shown on the picture.

Step 4: Now connection the backside of the motor carefully and make sure that the brush was connected with the motor well.

Step 5: After connecting the back lit now you have to connect the 4 junctions of the motor. In some motors, their are 2 points also available. make sure about that. it is for that your motor will not open when the motor is running. so it will help you a lot. 

Step 6: Now cut exta resistance wire from the point and you can connection external wire with the motor.

Step 7: Don't forget to add a heat shrink tube for the voltage insulation. It will make the motor linkage proof.

This trick can give the motor a new life. so this lifehack is  highly recommended.

Introduction:

Suppose a situation where there is no electrician and you need an electronic extinction board as early as possible. So, at a mean time you don't know how to connect all the components together, In this short article, I am going to discuss all the things. So read the full article and you will understand everything. We will try to understand everything clearly systematically. 





1. What is an extension board?

Extension board is a device where you can connect multiple devices in long story short I can say that if you have multiple connections in a Boat and it is connected with the length of wire then it is called extension board. It should have a 3 pin 230-volt socket from where the voltage comes in and have several outlets from where the voltage comes out and we can use that voltage for our multiple purposes.

2. What things should you keep in your mind when you are making this extension board?

As yes I am an Indian citizen we have 230-volt air water what home purposes. now if you are making this type of boats then you should keep in mind that the board should have less capacity than 950 so it means that you can make extension board which is above 950 watts. it is for your safety viruses if you are giving more load than the MCB of your house should be down so it means that you have true of the MCV and then if true on the MCB so it was that it is about the Load of its capacity.

3. How voltage or current flow from one wire to another wire?

When we are dealing with AC voltage then there are two things like phase and neutral so the current flows from Phase to neutral systematically so if you connect wrong then there is the highest probability you can get a high electric shock.

4. Connection schematics:

This circuit is very simple and anyone can make this so firstly what you have to do is to connect the face of the 3 pin socket with a series with the switch so and this which outlet will be connected outer plug phace terminal. The neutral of the outlet should be connected with the plugs neutral. 

5. What if you connect the switch in between the neutral point?

It is a very good question and the answer is very simple if you are connecting the switch in the neutral connection there in the circuit fieldwork obviously but it is not the right connection systematics. now if you want the circuit to win the systematic where you have connected this week in the neutral condition so there will be you will get extreme shop from the connection because in the first case we have a Switch between the three pin plug phase and the outlet phase so it means that when the switch is off then the current will not flow after the switch to the current will go to the outlet of the extension board. as a result, we don't get an electric shock when the extension boards power is off. 
    Similarly, if you have connected the switch in between the neutral connection, if you are not is carefully then the outlets face terminal and the Three pin plug flush terminal are connected together so it means that when the switch is off. Then also there will be a current flow so it means that when the connection is on then you can get a shock obviously but when the connection is off then also you will get a shock so it is not safe for our work so we don't make this type of circuits.

6. How is single extension board works?

If you want to know more deeply so then you have to understand a simple circuit so fastly we will go through how you can make a single extension board and then if you understand it carefully then you can make and others big circuits also. 
Needed components are
1. A 3 pin plug
2. A 3 pin socket
3. And a switch and you can also call it SPDT switch.
Connect all the components as shown in the picture. And you are done.

7. How to connect several plans and switches?

If you have understood the first case where I showed 1 plug and one switch connection then making this thing is quite easy. make pairs of switch and outlet connections first. All the spare have a phase Input and a neutral input after that connect all the pairs neutral and phase together and then connect the final phase and neutral wire with the 3 pin plug. And lastly we are using three pin plug so we have a ground connection so what you have to do is we have to connect all the grounds in parallel and then connect the ground where with the three pin socket's ground terminal. Pupil also called this ground connection as earthing. so if I use a thing for my little girl then you should understand I am saying about the ground connection. 

8. Why I don't prefer buying instead of making an extension board?

The answer is simple when you are making something new then you will know something new for this made. That's why we called it DIY do it yourself. surely if you go to the market and buy the extension cord and extension board then you will understand that the quality of the product will not as good as the money you will spend. And if you spend more money then you will get a low-quality product and they easily heat up so better to use buy option as a long-lasting. 

Conclusion:

Lastly, I would say it is a beating good connection diagram I have shown in this article and you can follow these steps make sure you know what you are doing so mans 230 volt is not a matter of game so if you don't know what you are doing don't try this at home so it is my recommendation if you know something about electronics and if you don't know how to connect the extension board then it is a pretty good way to connect all the components. I have also not mentioned what type of box you should use? In the market there are many types of boxes are available to the famous one I think is the PVC box so you can use PVC box also and they are you can also make a box from wood as your wish. And if you are using 4 or 5 outlets then you should definitely use high gauge wire.
